Flying Easter Egg

OK, so it’s nothing to do with wine, but I thought I’d post a cool video of an old trick which shows the fun you can have with the power of an airflow. It came up today as I painted Easter Eggs with the kids. Intuition might suggest the air would blow the egg away from the hair dryer, but the air rushes around the sides of the egg and then around behind it to keep the egg in stasis. Well, almost.

It works better with table tennis balls, but they’re not so good for painting at Easter time!
