Spring progresses rapidly

It occurred to me that with my missing a Plumpton vineyard practical session yesterday I’m missing posts about what stage the Plumpton vines are at. I’ll make amends now by posting a picture of the tiny Plumpton “varietal” patch which shows just how far spring has progressed.

Shoot growth is impressive with 3-5 nodes on most, leaves everywhere and immature flower heads popping out all over.
